S ome 83% of the population live in rural areas and rely on subsistence agriculture. More than half live in poverty without reliable access to food, as despite Uganda’s good soil and favorable weather, there are many barriers preventing poor farmers making the most of the country’s growing economy.

What we do?
Deliver training in agricultural best practice to 15,000 farmers so that they can change from substance farming to Commercial farming, and command higher prices.
Encouraging youth to get involved in our modern agriculture program where we teach them the comprehensive best practices in agriculture applicable in Uganda
Train farmers to optimize land use and diversify income streams.Help farmers gain access to the funds they need to grow their business by connecting them to financial institutions and setting up saving groups.
Help 1,000 young adults create their own jobs running agribusinesses through providing seeds and access to fertilizers ,after harvest we provide Market for their produce.
Project goals
- Strengthening agribusinesses and cooperatives not only improves the stream of goods and services available to smallholders but creates employment opportunities for young people within these businesses.
- This project will help young farmers form different farmers’ groups and unions. Econ Children’s village will also provide emerging leaders with training in advocacy so they can draw attention to the challenges and opportunities facing these groups, and advocate for change at both a district and national level.Strengthening agribusinesses and cooperatives not only improves the stream of goods and services available to smallholders but creates employment opportunities for young people within these businesses.
- Helping them to organize their supply chain, bulk and store top quality coffee and build links with traders, providing farmers with a decent income loans ,farming tools and new business opportunities to the community.
- This project will help young farmers form farmers’ groups and unions. Econ Children’s village will also provide emerging leaders with training in advocacy so they can draw attention to the challenges and opportunities facing these groups, and advocate for change at both a district and national level.
